Cyprus apartments to rent
for short term holidays or long term rentals.
It is fairly easy to find
rental apartments or flats in Cyprus, many self catering
properties are intended for the short holiday lets or medium to long
term rentals with a surplus of rental properties available in the winter
off-season. Some Cyprus apartment properties are available fully
furnished or part furnished, the rest typically come equipped with the
usual fully fitted kitchen with built-in cupboards and closets.
Long Term Rentals: apartments and flats are usually rented on the basis
of having a contract for a period of one year with the possibility of
renewals each year. For long term rentals, landlords usually require the
tenant to pay the equivalent of three month’s rent as a deposit and one
month’s rent in advance when the contract is signed. The long term
rental tenant generally pays for all utilities, water, electricity,
heating, costs that are not included in the rental price.
Holiday Rentals:
apartments or flats are fully furnished with some having air
conditioning included in the rental and have the availability of a
shared swimming pool in a holiday complex. Rental rates can vary as to
what the size of the rental apartment or flat is and what area the
property is situated, either by the sea or inland in one of the
picturesque villages of Cyprus.
